Establishing of the Company “Staklo Komerc”Ltd has dated since 1982. According to legal provisions of that time, there was no opportunity to register the company, thus in 1982 a craftsmen`s shop was opened under the name of “FLOT” in Kovin, whose basic activities were glass cutting (glazing) and glass grinding work in civil engineering and building construction.
By passing the Companies Act in 1990, the Company “STAKLO KOMERC” was registered as a legal entity Ltd, with basic activity being : final craftsmen work in building construction. Ltd Staklo Komerc has started its development considering the gained experiences in the previous work in craft shops, thus it started to spread the market all over ex-Yugoslavia . Now, Staklo Komerc , besides glass work , possesses in its production sections covering 2500m2, an installed line for aluminium joinery production (aluminium windows, aluminium doors, etc) as well as PVC joinery production line (pvc windows, pvc doors, pvc air shafts etc) and , of course, thermal insulation glass production line. Equipment for the production of aluminium and pvc joinery is of top quality and matches high world technology. Because of efficiency of performing the contracted business, all products produced by Ltd Staklo Komerc got compliance certificates by European standards. Partners are building companies all over ex-Yugoslavia.
The current production program is producing and assembling of : aluminium windows, aluminium doors, aluminium rolling shutters, aluminium mosquito nets, aluminium outer drips, aluminium facades, pvc windows, pvc doors, pvc under-window boards, glass and vitrification. In cooperation with a well-known German company Schüco , development directions will be based on betterment of modern structural facades, where high quality glass as well as aluminium, in new projects , take share in building with nearly 40%.
